Severe Weather Threat Continues Across the Central U.S.; Critical Fire Weather Conditions in New Mexico

Severe thunderstorms will continue to be likely across the Central Plains into the Midwest on Monday. Thunderstorm development is also possible in portions of the Middle Mississippi Valley to Lower Michigan Monday afternoon. We will return to more spring-like temperatures as a cooler air mass continues to make its way across the forecast area. Snow levels will drop down to around 6500-7500 ft, though any accumulating snow will likely be limited to the higher Uinta Mtns.
