Snow is expected to return to the high terrain and mountain passes on Wednesday night and Thursday. Despite it being late May, be prepared for winter driving conditions. Some indications suggest that snow may fall even below pass levels.
Unsettled weather is expected this week across the Northern Rockies as a series of Pacific systems move through. Valley high temperatures will reach into the 50s and 60s each day, with a mix of sun, clouds, and showers. Snow showers will periodically impact the highest elevations, with snow levels generally ranging from 6000 to 7000 feet.
